Congratulations on becoming a CIMA Affiliate

We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Mr. Teh Kai Guan, a Final Year Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) student , who has successfully attained CIMA Affiliate Status as announced by AICPA & CIMA on 9 July 2026.

Due to his excellent academic performance and maintaining an overall CGPA of 3.50 and above, Kai Guan was eligible to receive 15 exemptions out of the 16 papers in the CIMA Professional Qualification pathway. This has enabled him to attempt the Strategic Case Study (SCS) examination, the final examination required to complete the CIMA qualification, during the June 2026 examination session.

With the successful completion of the Strategic Case Study examination, Kai Guan has now completed all CIMA examinations and has been upgraded to CIMA Affiliate status. This accomplishment is particularly remarkable as he achieved CIMA Affiliate status in July 2026 before graduating at the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) convocation scheduled for November 2026. His achievement reflects exceptional dedication, perseverance, academic excellence, and commitment to professional development.

Looking ahead, upon completing three years of relevant practical experience, Kai Guan will be eligible for full membership of CIMA and will be awarded the prestigious ACMA (Associate Chartered Management Accountant) and CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) designations, internationally recognised credentials that signify professional excellence in management accounting, finance, and business leadership.
