Objectives

The purpose of the meeting is to explore Internship, build Entrepreneurs network outreach, participate in SME Congress, and publication of Entrepreneurship activities at USM.

Important takeaways from the discussion:

1.Student consultancy Based Learning - Work with SME Malaysia as bridge to connect organizations with a problem that needs to be solved (Academic and Student Development)

2.SME Malaysia provides accessibility to Entrepreneurs’ Database for the use of undergraduate and postgraduate students (Postgraduate studies & research)

3.Use existing Angle Investor business process to enable commercialization, such as Mad Incubator, Cradle, KASS and Advanze Fidelist (Entrepreneurship Unit)

4.UKKL in order to provide training and consultancy, needs to identify Entrepreneurs who are open minded and do not fear in employee leaving after accumulation of knowledge, i.e Harvinder, a successful businesswoman (UKKL)

5.Regular column for School of Management by identifying a theme and a group of authors taking turn to write (IB Section to coordinate)

6.If there is a product to be commercialized, can approach the following methods (a)E-directory, (b)Small event - i.e franchise road show, digital road show (Entrepreneurship Unit)
