Ms Zarinah Abd Ghani , Head of Human Resources, TOP GLOVE - a company that has come a long way from its humble beginnings. What started off as a modest business venture of one factory and 100 staff, has now emerged as the world’s largest rubber glove manufacturer, boasting 26 factories. TOP GLOVE exports its product to over 185 countries through its sales and marketing offices in Malaysia, USA, and Germany.
The company’s business ethics of honesty, integrity and transparency form the basis of its general business principles. TOP GLOVE’s employees hold fast to these in their daily interactions with their business partners as well as among each other. To support its business growth, the company aim to bring out the best in its people via numerous innovative talent development programs and processes to shape future leaders for the organization. Ms Carolyn Nur Amira Lee Bte Abdullah, Managing Director, AVON. Carolyn has over 20 years of consumer goods and direct marketing experience. Carolyn began her career as a promotion executive in TUPPERWARE Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. She moved to NUTRIMETICS Malaysia as its Managing Director in 2006 and under her leadership the company's position advanced significantly. With her continued zest, belief and enthusiasm in empowering women, Carolyn was appointed Managing Director for AVON in 2011.
AVON is well known for a brand that dedication to women touches beauty, health, fitness, self empowerment and financial independence. For over 36 years, AVON Malaysia has empowered many women (including students) across the Peninsular, Sabah and Sarawak by providing them with earning opportunities and making their dreams come true.
Carolyn’s presentation will chronicle AVON’s journey as a brand, describing the insights and innovations that inspired the brand’s growth; as well as the initiatives, both corporate and brand-related that successfully connects AVON with the hearts of women in Malaysia.

Mr Thomas Varughese, Head of Retail Banking Wealth Management, HSBC Malaysia.
He was formerly the Deputy Managing Director of HSBC Commercial Banking. Mr Thomas is an excellent “connector” in the market for financial services, having managed branch managers and coached sales people to sell financial products as well as providing advisory services. Thomas' presentation will focus on the role of marketing in financial services organisation.

Ms Pial Khadilla Bte Abdullah, is the founder of Asia Essentials – a natural skincare company that caters to individuals and business demands. The company create bespoke skincare ranges for personal tastes, events and businesses. Its mission is to share, empower and educate the general public on understanding what natural skincare is all about.
Pial is an expert and Europe-trained in natural skincare. She learnt the power and health benefits of using natural ingredients and herbs especially in skincare. She started her business with selling Argan Oil, and created a range of skincare products and sold it online as well as at local markets in London. Four years on, she decided that her passion is in teaching and wants nothing more than to share her knowledge and experience.
