Biodata:

Nor Hasliza Md. Saad is a senior lecturer in the Business Analytics and Operations Management Sections of the School of Management (SOM) at the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia. She received her BA in Computer Information Systems from Temple University, USA and her MSc in Information Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. She received her PhD in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia. Her research areas include e-commerce, information systems, natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, data analytics, text mining, social network analytics, sentiment, and topic modeling. I have worked on various research projects in data analytics, mining opinions from social media and websites, data mining and topic modeling. Prior to her teaching and research experience, she was a Strategic Engagement, Quality and Alumni (SEQUAL) Manager in SOM, developing strategic plans to support alums and stakeholder engagement including monitoring and maintaining the school's website and social media presence. She is a qualified digital entrepreneurship Training of Trainer (TOT) by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation and a Professional Trainer certified or accredited by HRD Corp. SEQUAL Managers often oversee public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and promotional activities to enhance the SOM's visibility and reputation both locally and globally through strategic social media and marketing strategies. She has published 30+ articles in refereed international journals, chapters in books and conference proceedings. These accolades validate her dedication to seeking knowledge and bolster her enthusiasm for continuing to make meaningful contributions to the academic community and beyond.
