Biodata:
FAUZIAH MD. TAIB is currently a professor in accounting and finance at the School of Management in Universiti Sains Malaysia. She earned her doctorate degree from Lancaster University in 1996 specializing in goodwill accounting and the workings of the stock market. Prior to joining USM, she served Tenaga Nasional Berhad and Sime Darby Group and had been with Lancaster University for four years. Her research articles have appeared in many international and local journals such as Accounting Business Research (UK), Accountancy (UK), Capital Markets Review, Managerial Finance (UK), International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance (UK), Management Research News (UK), Economic and Business Journal.  She was an associate researcher for Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), International Centre of Research in Accounting (ICRA).  Currently, she is the Dean School of Management in Universiti Sains Malaysia. She is also an associate research fellow of National Higher Education Research Institute [IPPTN] and sits on the advisory board of Socio-Economic and Environmental Research Institute [SERI], a state-government think tank.
